Nick Fury led Rogers toward the elevator.

Fury entered the elevator first and said, "Project Insight ship bay."

The moment Rogers stepped into the elevator, an alarm began to sound.

"Captain Rogers does not have authorization for Project Insight!"

"Override authorization, Director Nicholas J. Fury."

Nick Fury leaned casually against the side and said directly,

"Confirmed." A cold voice rang out. The elevator doors began to close, and the elevator started descending.

Nick Fury looked at Rogers and began reminiscing, telling him a story about how his grandfather had once been an elevator operator.

It took several full minutes for the elevator to slowly descend underground. The surroundings darkened completely, and a faint blue light appeared.

After only a few seconds, the world outside the glass, which had just been concrete, instantly transformed into a vast underground space.

From a distance, they could see the metal supports, artificial bridges, and the dozens of aircraft on a raised landing pad nearby.

And that was all Rogers could see from the corner of his eye as he leaned against the elevator and looked toward Fury.

As soon as Nick Fury entered the underground space, he instinctively stepped forward twice. He stared blankly at the scene beyond the observation glass, a trace of relief in his eyes.

Rogers could not help turning around. When he saw the scene before him, he was completely stunned.

It was a colossal underground space beyond description. The elevator carrying the two of them had already descended dozens of meters, yet they were still more than three hundred meters above the ground.
