"Stop following me everywhere! We're not friends! I don't have any friends!"

"Oh, really? The first two thousand times you said that, I still couldn't understand a damn thing!"

"No one understands what you're saying! So do everyone a favor and shut up! And don't sit on my side!"

Groot began following the short fellow who had never bullied him, Rocket.

Although Rocket's words were always harsh and mocking, he had never once chased Groot away by force.

The two of them stayed in the prison like this for many days.

Their utterly unrelated conversations far outnumbered the days they spent in silence.

After many days had passed, the two prison guards who had teased Groot the last time once again came to Rocket Raccoon and Groot's cell.

They were preparing to play the same game again: "Hey, what was your name again?"

Groot still answered innocently,

"I am Groot."

The same current ran through Groot once again, electrocuting him.

As the electricity coursed through him, Rocket suddenly flew into a rage. His short body leaped straight at the prison guards, intending to teach them both a harsh lesson.
