A massive wall dozens of meters high, reinforced with large amounts of metal, was used to form the outer hull of the spaceship's cabin.
It weighed thousands of tons. Even Ebony Maw could only forcibly twist away the load-bearing section at the very bottom, then use gravity to accelerate its fall.
If he relied solely on his telekinesis to drive this thousand-ton wall, it would have been impossible.
But this was enough. A thousand tons of cold wall spanning dozens of square meters came crashing down.
For the spaceship, such an attack naturally had little effect. At most, it would cause a slight impact and scrape away some paint, and that was only because the ship had not fully started up and activated its defensive systems.
Otherwise, such an attack would have no effect whatsoever on a hundred-meter spaceship capable of traveling through space.
But Quill and the others were still below. Jason, Little Jie, Gamora, Nebula, Lorelei, and the rest were all within the wall's range.
In fact, with the wall bearing down on them, aside from Lorelei, who might survive, perhaps Quill had a tiny chance of making it out alive as well.
As for everyone else, they were dead for sure.
Inside the cockpit, Rocket watched the wall collapsing downward. His eyes bulged ferociously, his sharp teeth clenched, and both hands pressed hard against the cannon firing button.
But his efforts were futile. Ebony Maw had already forced the cannon's muzzle downward, causing the bullets to fire completely off to the side. Rocket had no time to rescue them.
Looking at the people below, Rocket felt a pain unlike anything he had ever experienced.
The companions he had finally acknowledged—were they all going to die here? Was he really a jinx?
"NO!!"
Rocket stared fiercely at everything
