At this moment, Tony and Leo crossed through the crowd with two glasses of ice water and entered a research lab in the back.
Tony placed the ice water in his hand on the table and pushed it over.
Leo casually caught the sliding glass of ice water and gently swirled it. The crisp clinking of the transparent ice cubes against the glass rang out through the room.
Tony downed the ice water in one gulp, leaving only a few ice cubes in the glass.
"What's going on? What did you think of this time?"
Tony looked at Leo as he spoke, his tone flat and devoid of any other emotion. He showed no reaction at all to Leo's refusal to hand over the Mind Scepter for him to study.
Leo, however, set his glass of ice water back on the table.
"That's right. I sensed something was very wrong, and that's what made me hesitate."
"I think you must have figured something out too."
Leo calmly looked at Tony Stark.
"There was a superhuman in that secret room, wasn't there? Or was it two? You let them leave."
Indeed, not long after breaking free of the illusion, Tony had immediately thought of this possibility. Something this strange had happened to him, and Tony himself would never have believed it if he hadn't been affected by another superpower.
"That's right. That state you fell into was caused by the female superhuman. But after seeing that you were fine, I let them leave."
Leo did not deny Tony's guess in the slightest. He calmly stated the truth.
"What? Are you interested in this female superhuman? Or did you fall under her spell too?"
Tony casually curled the corner of his mouth in amusement. There was not the slightest hint of blame
