Watching the boss's expectant gaze, Quill had no idea why Leo understood him so well.

Yet deep down, he also felt a trace of yearning, although he had never once imagined he could do something like this before.

But when facing Leo, Quill was willing to give it a try.

He put away the single-person rocket propulsion device beneath his feet.

Steadying his mind, Quill began slowly controlling the energy within his body. Countless white flashes flickered in his hands, gradually wrapping around his entire palms.

However hard Quill tried, he simply couldn't take off.

Instead, the energy ball in Quill's hands grew larger and larger. It seemed that all he could do was gather the energy together. Aside from that, he couldn't do anything.

"Quill, wait. Control it! Learn to control this power instead of merely condensing it like this."

Leo spoke while watching Quill stand in place with his eyes closed, concentrating intently on controlling the energy.

Quill opened his eyes as well and looked at Leo, slightly speechless. "I can't do it. The only thing I can do right now is condense this power."

As he spoke, he dispersed the enormous spheres of light condensed above his fists.

Quill wasn't discouraged by this, however. He excitedly condensed another small ball in his hand, then suddenly threw it. The small ball flew dozens of meters away with tremendous force.

It landed on the ground, and the entire energy ball suddenly sank into it.

Boom!!

With a muffled sound, a circular crater roughly one meter in diameter appeared in the ground.

Such power far exceeded that of an ordinary grenade.

However, its killing radius was far too small. Within one meter, the energy's eruption was enough to swallow most matter, but beyond one meter, it caused virtually no damage.
