The sudden explosion sent Natasha and Dr. Banner flying with the airwave.
The others were merely knocked over to the side.
The two people farthest from the explosion were Rogers, who instinctively shielded his companion beside him—Tony, whose body was relatively frail.
The two were knocked to the ground by the impact, and Tony was only slightly dazed.
Rogers quickly got to his feet and pulled Tony up, a hint of panic in his expression.
"Go put on your armor."
"All right, I think so too."
Tony immediately hurried toward where his armor was stored. Before leaving, he still looked back at Leo, who stood motionless amid the smoke and dust.
Then he hurried away.
The entire Helicarrier shook violently, and even its enormous hull began to tilt slightly.
Most of the people were knocked to the ground by the explosion.
Alarms blared, and warning lights flashed wildly.
Everyone sprang into action. The entire work area descended into chaos, and dozens of security personnel picked up rifles and went to guard the various critical rooms.
Fury also climbed to his feet and pressed his headphones. "Hill?"
"There was an explosion outside. Engine Three has stopped running."
Hill had just gotten up from the floor as well. She hurried to the control panel in the Command Center and reported the current situation.
"Can we repair it? Engine Three is down. Report to me."
After reporting to Fury, Hill quickly found the staff responsible for monitoring the ship's condition.
"The turbine is basically fine, but as long as we're still flying, it's impossible to send anyone out to repair it."
Hill immediately realized how serious the situation was. It concerned the survival of the entire Helicarrier.
"If we lose another engine, we're finished. Someone has to go out and repair the engine."
