Chiri was orphaned during the First Shinobi World War; by adulthood, her memories of her parents had become vague. She grew up within the Uchiha clan and was trained in Uchiha Style Kenjutsu by the old Clan Head, who later entrusted her with preventing the clan from destroying itself. 185 824

As a child, Chiri was an isolated prodigy. There was little left for her own clan to teach her, so she visited public training grounds to observe civilian ninja and copy unfamiliar techniques.
