"Do they need to confirm it?"
After receiving BYD's official email reply, Markus was so angry he laughed, yet there was nothing he could do.
This was not the first time BYD had said no to Tesla. There had been a previous case where they failed to cooperate because they could not agree on a price, but that had been in the new energy vehicle sector.
In the new energy vehicle sector, BYD made cars itself, so it had no trouble selling its own batteries and naturally had no need for Tesla's orders. Markus could understand that.
But now this was the entirely new sector of humanoid robots. This time, BYD had not only refused them but had not even negotiated. It was even more excessive than last time.
What did they mean, they needed to confirm it? That excuse might fool others, but it could not fool Markus. This was clearly a rejection.
Markus asked, "Has BYD secured an order from Fei Yang Company?"
That was the only explanation he could think of.
"No news has been released. Probably not."
The person reporting to him thought for a moment, then shook his head.
"Strange. Could BYD be planning to enter this sector itself?"
Markus could not understand it. Then it suddenly occurred to him that BYD had always pursued a full-industry-chain model. Perhaps it was considering entering the entirely new humanoid robot sector.
The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed.
BYD had started out making batteries. Later, when it saw the potential in new energy vehicles, it entered that industry itself. By now, its market capitalization had surpassed one trillion, even higher than Tesla's. Its new energy vehicle sales had officially overtaken Tesla's this quarter. Lately, the news had been filled with reports about Fei
