A deathly silence!
By the time Shimomatsu no Suke arrived at the IT Department, XiaSong Company's servers had been completely disconnected from the network. But the seven large characters displayed on the huge LCD screen hanging on one wall left him utterly silent.
"Courtesy demands reciprocity!"
This was a classic saying from China's Book of Rites. Its original meaning was that if someone had bestowed kindness upon you and you failed to repay it, that was improper. Later, it came to mean that when others took action against you, you would respond in kind. In an adversarial relationship, it meant: if someone targeted me, then I would retaliate.
Little Country's culture had developed from Chinese culture. Though it had become somewhat distorted, many people in Little Country were actually very familiar with Chinese culture.
Shimomatsu no Suke was one of them. He could even be called a China expert.
The seven large characters on the screen were written in Chinese. He could read them, understood their meaning, and would not mistake them for their literal original meaning.
He knew that an enemy was retaliating against XiaSong Company!
Looking across the world, XiaSong Company had many hostile forces. But so far, the only company Shimomatsu no Suke could think of that would dare do something like this was Fei Yang Company.
First, Fei Yang currently had the worst relationship with XiaSong Company, bar none;
Second, Fei Yang Company's technical capabilities in computing were extraordinary. It had the ability to hack into XiaSong Company's servers. Just look at Fei Yang Company's Chaos Programming Language. Without exceptionally advanced technical capabilities, how could it have created a programming language, much less an unprecedented Chinese-based system?
Then there was the Humanoid Robot that had been exposed earlier. It was clearly highly intelligent. This not
