"Once you find a system vulnerability, you can break in." Jiang Yan Hai paused, then decided to say it anyway.

This time, he did not wait for Tang Xin Yi to ask further questions before continuing. "First of all, the Red and Blue sides use the same system. I don't know whether the people who designed it considered this, but if you infiltrate from within the Red side's system, then although the Blue side's system has some defensive capabilities, they are effectively nonexistent."

The phrase "effectively nonexistent" made Tang Xin Yi break out in cold sweat. Was it really okay for him to put it that way?

How could the Blue Army's system truly be effectively nonexistent? And how could a nation's military system fail to account for the possibility of an enemy infiltrating from within? All of that had been taken into consideration!

"Impossible! Although we use the same military system, we have implemented comprehensive defenses beneath the Red and Blue sides' systems! And we have conducted thorough testing for vulnerabilities. You must have used some other method." A major could no longer hold back and stood up as he spoke.

It was obvious that this major was in charge of information security. You could tell just by looking at the glasses he wore.

"Was my laptop brought over?" Jiang Yan Hai did not argue. Instead, he asked directly.

Chen Shan Ming, who had been standing behind him, immediately rose silently and handed over the military laptop Jiang Yan Hai carried with him.

"No one touched it," Chen Shan Ming added.

"Thank you, Commander." Jiang Yan Hai nodded. Without another word, he took out his laptop, looked around, then walked over to an empty seat nearby and sat down.

"There should be a comprehensive defense system here, right?" Jiang Yan Hai looked up at the major and asked.

"Yes." The major nodded decisively.

"Have your people get ready." Jiang Yan Hai smiled.

The major froze for a moment, then instantly understood what Jiang Yan Hai meant. He was going to infiltrate their system right in front of them!

Anger surfaced on his face, but he quickly suppressed it, because none of the many high-ranking officers seated nearby said a word.

Just as General Gao Shi Wei had said, they were only watching and would not voice their opinions.

"You may begin." After returning to his position, the major spoke directly.

Jiang Yan Hai smiled. He plugged in the power first before turning on the laptop, since its battery had already run out.

Once the laptop had booted up, Jiang Yan Hai immediately began operating the computer in front of him. Tang Xin Yi made no attempt to avoid looking and simply stood behind him.

This was different from civilian settings. If they had been among civilians, Tang Xin Yi might have avoided such a thing, but this was the military! They had to get to the bottom of it!

This concerned the entire nation's military system! Security could not be taken lightly!

But unfortunately, after standing behind Jiang Yan Hai, she discovered that she could not understand it at all!

Tang Xin Yi knew computers too, but clearly, what she had studied was not information security. Still, she had originally thought she would be able to understand at least part of it.

At the very least, she should have been able to tell what Jiang Yan Hai was doing, but now it seemed she could not make sense of any of it.

The data on Jiang Yan Hai's screen was scrolling so fast it was practically flooding the display.

The code on the computer was continuously updating, yet Jiang Yan Hai pieced together exactly what he needed from it.

Meanwhile, the major directed the twenty or thirty information officers and soldiers present to quickly deploy their defenses.

After roughly twenty minutes, Jiang Yan Hai, who had been continuously typing, suddenly stopped moving.

"What is it? Haven't you started yet? Or is there no way for you to break in?" The major sounded somewhat smug as he looked at Jiang Yan Hai and asked.

"Heh." Jiang Yan Hai chuckled twice. Then, without wasting words, he pressed the Enter key.

With that action from Jiang Yan Hai, countless intrusion alerts abruptly erupted across the large screen before them. The glaring red warning boxes instantly made the major's face change drastically. Without another word, he sat down and rapidly began working at the keyboard in front of him.

But Jiang Yan Hai no longer moved. He simply sat quietly in his seat, watching them continuously defend against the intrusions.

While operating his own terminal, the major kept directing the other information soldiers. All kinds of commands were passed back and forth between them amid loud shouts.

The tense atmosphere in the entire command hall was like that of a real battlefield. To be honest, the generals had never seen a scene like this before.

The tension in a command hall was usually connected to the course of a battle, but now it concerned the survival of the entire command system itself. And this battlefield was the battlefield of the soldiers before them.

They were different from those who fought on the front lines, but they too had a battlefield of their own.

Data continued to refresh across the large screen, and all sorts of intrusion alerts were exceptionally conspicuous. Though the generals and senior officers did not understand them, they watched with great interest.

But in a peaceful environment, the military system should be even more vigilant. No one knew whether the enemy might steal intelligence through such means.

Jiang Yan Hai truly sat motionless in his seat, while the major no longer had the time to watch him. His face was already covered in dense beads of sweat.

After more than half an hour, the warning sounds finally began to disappear one after another. When the last alert finally vanished, the major could not help pumping his fist, while the other soldiers also burst into cheers.
