"Kill this arrogant brat and let him know that the people of Green Mountain Town are not to be trifled with!"

Well, in just a few short sentences, Xiao Xian had managed to offend everyone in Green Mountain Town. It was as if he had a hatred magnet installed in his body, and paired with that arrogant face of his, he was truly a master at courting death.

"Ahem, everyone, please don't get so worked up. I was only joking with you just now. I'll apologize right away. How about we part on good terms and pretend that none of this ever happened?" Seeing the crowd's outrage, Xiao Xian immediately wilted and spoke with apparent "fear."

"Heh heh, brat, weren't you feeling pretty pleased with yourself just now? You acted like you were such hot stuff. Go on, act arrogant again for me now."

"Exactly. Don't think we'll let you off just because you apologize. Let me tell you, it's too late. If apologies were useful, what would Imperial Law be for? While you still have some time, hurry up and pick yourself a good burial spot, so you can bury yourself there when the time comes."
