Xiao Xian helped bring the Dou Qi Continent’s conflict to a close, then entered the Yang God World and took Hong Yi as his disciple. Hong Yi began training under Xiao Xian while preparing to face Hong Xuanji and the rules of the Hong Residence.

• Xiao Xian arranged the opening of the Ancient Emperor Cave Abode, where Xiao Yan used Xiao Xian’s equipment to defeat Soul Emperor and destroy the Soul Clan.
• Xiao Xian completed the Battle Through The Heavens campaign, gave Yun Yun a divine spark, and left for the Yang God World.
• Xiao Xian met Hong Yi, offered to take him as a disciple, and revealed that he intended to remake the Cultivation World and establish an empire governed by laws.
• Hong Yi accepted Xiao Xian as his master, and Xiao Xian gave him martial training and placed a protective pearl in his brow.
• Hong Yi returned to the Hong Residence, faced Granny Zeng, and resolved to leave if Hong Xuanji would not compromise.
• Hong Yi found the Past Amitabha Sutra among the ashes of his burned Martial Scriptures and went to meet Hong Xuanji in his study.

Xiao Xian defended Hong Yi, defeated Hong Xuanji and his allies, and began training Hong Yi for the Spring Examination. After Hong Yi left for the examination, Xiao Xian traveled to the Central Great World, where he overwhelmed Xu Wuyi but let him escape.

• Hong Xuanji confronted Hong Yi over his poetry and possible master, but Xiao Xian arrived, rebuked Hong Xuanji, and defeated him before declaring Hong Yi his disciple.
• Hong Yi accused Hong Xuanji of allowing Meng Bingyun to be poisoned, struck him while he was injured, and vowed to avenge his mother as Hong Xuanji disowned him.
• Yang Pan healed Hong Xuanji and gave him the Imperial Heaven Beginning Dragon Armor, but Xiao Xian later defeated him, Huang YanYan, Zhao Feier, and a Great Luo Sect elder at Dragon Slaying Mountain.
• Xiao Xian spared Hong Xuanji but gave him one year to meet his demands, then brought Hong Yi into the Yunlan Sect and began teaching him.
• Xiao Xian trained Hong Yi for half a month and gave him the Peach God Yin-Yang Sword and Soul Splitting Puppet to prepare him for the Spring Examination.
• Yang An refined the Immortal God King's Precious Flesh and planned to attack Xiao Xian's divine soul during a thunder tribulation, while Hong Xuanji quietly left the capital to seek new opportunities.
• Hong Yi descended the mountain to take the Spring Examination, and Xiao Xian traveled to the Central Great World, leaving a powerful avatar behind.
• Xu Wuyi challenged Xiao Xian in the starry sky, but Xiao Xian mastered and surpassed his techniques, defeated his attacks, and forced him to flee using Escaping One.

Xiao Xian used his tribulation as bait to draw out the experts plotting against him, then killed them and gathered their artifacts and power. After raiding the Dragon Tomb and defeating the rulers of the Sun Moon Void, he forged a blade prototype and confronted Meng Shenji.

• Xiao Xian returned to the Divine Continent and went to the Wild Wastes for his tribulation as Meng Shenji spread word of his location and gathered enemies against him.
• Xiao Xian lured Yang An and the other hunters into attacking, then passed through all seven thunder layers and reached the Seventh Tribulation Creator realm.
• Xiao Xian revealed that he had concealed his true strength and killed Yang Yuan, Tang Hailong, Su Mu, Great Zhou Grand Ancestor, Yang An, the Essence Yuan Divine Temple’s pope, the Essence Qi God, and many other attackers.
• Xiao Xian spared Meng Shenji for the moment and sent his avatar to watch over Hong Yi, while Meng Shenji resolved to repair the Eternal Kingdom and seek a way to defeat him.
• Xiao Xian broke into the Yama Great Array, took its divine artifacts and turtle-shell foundation, and explored the Dragon Tomb, collecting its frozen dragons, Crystal Palace, and Dragon Tooth Rice.
• Xiao Xian drew out Shang Emperor and Yin Emperor, killed them, absorbed their soul origins, and stripped the Sun Star and Taiyin Star of rare materials.

Xiao Xian killed Meng Shenji and the leaders of the Central Great World, then defeated the God Kings and reached Shattering the Vacuum. He conquered the Yun Meng Empire, founded Great Chu, and completed the Ninth Thunder Tribulation as a Pure Yang Primordial Spirit.

• Xiao Xian killed Meng Shenji, destroyed the Supreme Path Sect, and wiped out the heads of the Fan, Wang, Ji, and Sun families along with their allies.
• Xiao Xian defeated Xu Wuyi, Xu Yi, and Meng Wuhen, then killed the eight ministers of the Central Great World.
• Xiao Xian rescued Divine King Gou Li from the Silent Sky Prison and used her help to hunt down the God Kings.
