Background

Little Wu first meets Long Jie at the Notting City Junior Soul Master Academy, where she has established herself as the shared dormitory's boss after defeating its other residents. She challenges him when he takes her preferred bed, but his Gale Step and superior speed allow him to evade her Flying Kick and catch her leg with ease. His concern after the clash gradually changes her attitude toward him. 3

She comes to acknowledge Long Jie as her brother, replacing the original role Tang San would have held in her life. During their years at the academy, Long Jie protects her from bullies, and their sibling bond becomes central to both of them. 4

When Long Jie leaves Lan Ba Academy for three months, Little Wu becomes visibly thinner and waits in his room because it retains his scent. His return reduces her to tears, and she makes him promise never to leave her alone again. 41

Bi Ji captures Little Wu after Long Jie refuses to let the Emerald Swan take him as a pet. Though frightened by the separation, Little Wu assures Long Jie that she will be fine.
