Deathly aura filled the sky, and yin winds swept through.
At the center of the [Ming Luo Tree Sea], dusky radiance soaring into the heavens had dyed even the clouds ink-black. A woman cloaked in black robes emerged faintly from within.
A multicolored stone hung above the woman's head, pouring down endless Radiance like myriad flowers and thousands of trees, swaying in an unbroken expanse. It shielded her steadily at its center, keeping all the surrounding darkness outside. Yet as time passed, fine beads of sweat had already trickled down her fair forehead.
Three figures stood around the woman.
One stood with his hands behind his back and a sword on his back, roaring sword qi howling about him. Another wore white robes, a Precious Wheel slowly turning behind him. The third held up an official seal.
"Fellow Daoist Taihao, why persist in futile resistance?"
The white-robed man with the turning Precious Wheel smiled broadly and said:
"The Three Foundations had already lost the tide of fate one hundred twenty-nine thousand six hundred years ago. Your master is deader than dead. Can it be that you still cannot see the situation for what it is?"
The woman was so furious that her brows stood on end.
"Wugou, you bald donkey! If Wanbao had not ambushed us back then, how could we have fallen to such a state? Even if I die today, I'll drag you down to the grave with me!"
Yet upon hearing this, Bodhisattva Wugou showed not the slightest fear.
"How can you speak the World Honored One's name? You fell to this state only because you were inferior in skill. As for dragging me down with you, do not even dream of it."
Having said this, Bodhisattva Wugou simply removed the Precious Wheel from behind his head.
