Abruptly, Sky Soaring, who had been meditating, opened his eyes. He sucked in a sharp breath, then instinctively looked toward the Real World from afar.

Someone wanted to harm me again?

Something's not right. This time, it actually gives even me a few palpitations... Hongyun? Is that person behind the scenes moving against me again so soon?

What grudge, what enmity?

At that thought, Sky Soaring became even more convinced that the so-called mastermind was Hongyun. After all, only Hongyun had such deep hatred for him.

And the problem was, what method had Hongyun prepared that could genuinely make him sense danger? This was not something an Early Golden Core could accomplish. It showed that Hongyun's scheme had truly struck at his weak point—but with so many contingencies in place, how many of them had he grasped?

It couldn't be that he had grasped them all, could it?

The moment that thought arose, even Sky Soaring found it absurd and couldn't help laughing aloud. Yet gradually, his laughter faded.

Was it really impossible?

I can understand having suffered a setback overseas before. After all, Hongyun had visited the Biyang Cultivation World in those days. It is only natural that he could have laid out that trap.

But what about the others?

Suo Huan, Dragon-Serpent Shadow Bodhisattva, and my Retribution Dharma Outer Body. Of these three contingencies, at least the latter two cannot possibly be known to Hongyun.

Sky Soaring sat up straight and began to think seriously. In that case, it can only be Suo Huan. Suo Huan is Overseas, and Hongyun has also been Overseas, so it is not impossible. No matter what, one must give the enemy the benefit of the doubt. First assume that Hongyun has intelligence on Suo Huan.
