After surviving a clash with Liu Xin and Xiao Shiye, he lost the Primordial Dao Scripture and Ten Thousand Spirit Banner to Daoist Hongyun, who recognized him as a major Variable before leaving.

• Lu Yang repeatedly restarted his life, entered the inner sect, and used the Heavenly Demon Blood-Dissolving Divine Light and a Sword Pellet to strengthen himself despite their severe costs.
• Lu Yang trapped Zhao Xuhe in a scheme to profit from Death Substitute Puppets, sold his stock at a huge gain, and avoided Zhao’s later attempt to lure him into danger.
• Lu Yang joined Xiao Shiye on the way to the Merit Pool, but Liu Xin and Fairy Qingchen ambushed them inside a formation.
• Lu Yang and Xiao Shiye fought their way through the attackers, and Lu Yang used the Heavenly Demon Blood-Dissolving Divine Light to devour the surrounding cultivators before pursuing Liu Xin.

Lu Yang survived the Skull Mountain crisis, defeated Ouyang Haoze, and established himself as Blood Garment Pavilion Master while avoiding the schemes surrounding the Witch Ghost Secret Realm. After refusing to rescue Zhao Xuhe and resisting efforts to lure him from the Marketplace, Lu Yang faced Yun Miaozhen’s attack, which ended with him and the others disappearing.

• Lu Yang studied arrays and the Nine Transformations Dragon Art, then trapped Zhao Xuhe and Lu Yuanchun in his Sword Pellet formation before Peak Master of Heaven Mending broke it.
• Lu Yang captured Liu Xin, obtained the Primordial Primordial-Breath Divine Talisman, and advanced to the Qi Refining Late Stage before joining the Three Rivers Society.
• At Skull Mountain, Lu Yang installed his hidden sword formation and stayed behind when Fairy Feixia left to investigate the early Corpse Tide.
• Lu Yuanchun returned with the Mysterious Female Yin Jade, and Lu Yang restored the Marketplace formation and fought Ouyang Haoze, killing him and claiming the Taixiao Mirror.

• Yun Miaoqing’s sister Yun Miaozhen arrived, revealed she had arranged Yun Miaoqing’s ordeal, and attacked Lu Yang after he refused her demand for compensation.
• Yun Miaozhen’s Heavenly Escape Sword pierced the Marketplace’s formations, and Lu Yang and the others disappeared, leaving the Glazed Dharma Sword in the sky.

Lu Yang cultivated the Saint Thief in the Law Refining Secret Realm, defeated the Ancestor of the Yun Family, and later failed his first attempt at Foundation Establishment. After restarting, he began using Yu Suzhen and the Heaven-Stealing Secret to pursue his plans in a new life.

• Lu Yang killed Yun Miaozhen in the Heavenly Escape Sword, then broke through to Qi Refining Completion while battling Yun Zhiqiu and the others at Skull Mountain.
• True Person Yinshan seized the Witch Ghost Secret Realm and revealed the Divine Martial Sect’s defeat, then warned Lu Yang that his Fortune would be terrible for thirty years.
• After three decades in seclusion, Lu Yang learned the Saint Thief and entered the Law Refining Secret Realm, where he founded the Martial Dao by sending its teachings in four directions.
• The Ancestor of the Yun Family reincarnated into the secret realm and manipulated Karma to create Martial Dao Celestials, while Lu Yang cultivated the Saint Thief and sent an avatar to investigate.
• Lu Yang posed as the ancient Immortal Di Shitian, led the Celestials to believe in a fifth Martial Dao realm, and defeated them before completing his Saint Body with the Fortune of 140 million inhabitants.

• After restarting, Lu Yang evaded the Peak Master of Heaven Mending and used Yu Suzhen to test the Heaven-Stealing Secret, but Yu Suzhen poisoned Liu Xin before he could exploit her.

Lu Yang entered the Witch Ghost Secret Realm, defeated Patriarch Tingyou, and built Yama Hall with Yu Suzhen remade as its Guardian Deity. After reaching Foundation Establishment, he fought Arhat Fulong and restarted his life, returning to the Sacred Sect with a plan to target the Peak Master of Heaven Mending.

• Lu Yang entered the Witch Ghost Secret Realm, gathered its Witch Ghosts, and defeated Patriarch Tingyou with a formation and the awakened Golden Core Sword Qi.
• Lu Yang learned that Yama Hall could imitate Foundation Establishment, then used Heaven-Stealing Secret through Yu Suzhen to steal Xiao Shiye’s Colorful Merit Fish and fortune.
• Yu Suzhen died from Heaven-Stealing Secret, and Lu Yang remade her as Su Nu, a Guardian Deity who helped him complete Yama Hall.
• Lu Yang trapped the Peak Master of Heaven Mending in Yama Hall, but the Peak Master escaped after splitting his soul, leaving Lu Yang to postpone their next fight.
• Lu Yang joined the Sacred Sect, gathered the Witch Ghost Sect’s inheritance and spirits into the Ten Thousand Spirit Banner, and trained to reach Foundation Establishment.
• Lu Yang achieved Corpse-Dissolution Immortal rank and entered Foundation Establishment, but Arhat Fulong trapped him and attacked him at Skull Mountain.
