He began building the Institute into a second Netherworld and his own Dao lineage, but his attempt to establish an Immortal Bridge beyond the Light Sea was blocked by Heavenly Dao, and Sky Soaring appeared to speak with him.

• Lu Yang borrowed the Ancestral Dragon’s power to complete the Dragon-Banishing Ruler, then made Ao Guang his servant and helped him attain the All-Dragon King Fruit Position.
• Lu Yang entered Chaos, learned the Plane Creation Method, and used the Heavenly Pivot Directorate Preaching Diagram to uncover a hidden realm beneath the Xuanling Realm.
• Lu Yang defeated Huanyao, completed the Reincarnation Life-and-Death Pill, and seized the Danding Secret Realm to build the Northern Exorcism Institute.
• Sky Soaring emerged from the Netherworld at full strength and erased Hongyun, while Lu Yang helped Old Dragon Lord restore Great Sea Water to its supreme position.

After arranging matters in the Real World with King Xi and [Sky Soaring], he prepared to enter the Netherworld while preserving his allies’ memories through Restart.

• Lu Yang traded a new Dao Path for Great Forest Wood's cultivation, completed the Sun-Shielding foundation, and divined that Mu Changsheng proving [Fire in the Sky] could distract the Dao Lords during his crossing beyond the Light Sea.
• Lu Yang explored [Pomegranate Wood] and discovered a dark tunnel leading toward the Ancestral Dragon’s seal, then learned from Heaven's Gatekeeper that Butian Que had sought a path to the Other Shore.
• Lu Yang entered the [Dao-Seeking Heavenly Gate Diagram], learned of Si Sui’s fate and the twelve Great True Lords, and trained his Dao Heart against their furious memories on the Light Sea’s Dark Side.
• Lu Yang formed the [Light-Chasing Dao Heart] through Mind Fasting and awakened the twelve Great True Lords, but the Sword Lord’s disciple Quexie and three Sword Gods also emerged to attack him.

Lu Yang entered the Netherworld, uncovered the Dao Court’s control over its ancient methods, and seized the Ten-Thousand Refinement Blood Pool to cultivate a Divine Wood True Treasure. He destroyed Emperor Cang’s avatar and ambushed the Dao Court’s Great True Lords, but Emperor Cang’s true body confronted him as Quzhi rose toward the Real World.

• Lu Yang followed the Reincarnation Life-and-Death Pill into the Netherworld, where the Dao Lords mistook him for Danding, the First Generation Elixir Peak Master.
• Lu Yang rescued Taihao True Lord’s disciples, defeated their attackers, and received the Divine Wood seed and Taihao Sect inheritance from Taihao True Lord.
• Lu Yang learned that Emperor Cang had betrayed Lord Si Sui and killed Great True Lord Ming Luo, then erased Ying Guang True Lord when he tried to betray them.

Lu Yang uncovered Danding’s legacy, assumed his identity, and advanced his cultivation while the Three Foundations prepared to challenge the Netherworld’s powers. The arc ended as Danding confronted Heaven-Furnace World-Forger True Lord during the attack on Mount Bozhong.

• Lu Yang investigated the catastrophe in the Light Sea, then sought allies at Dragon-Tiger Mountain as he suspected Sky Soaring was protecting him.
• At Flame Mountain, Lu Yang exposed the counterfeit Danding and learned that the real Danding had died after entrusting his plan to an Ancestral Dragon bloodline.
