More than a month passed.

November 20.

Just as Zhou Ming had expected, the head of the National Public Security Department had indeed rejected Genesis Technology's application for access to "criminal record inquiries."

The Supreme Court had also demanded, in the name of "ensuring fairness," that Genesis Technology halt certain discriminatory practices. It could not turn away any customers and had to treat everyone equally.

In addition, the relevant departments' experts were still studying whether Genesis Technology's longevity service was legal and whether it could be launched. A law would be introduced to regulate the matter.

Before that law was enacted, Genesis Technology could not offer Longevity Medical Service to the public or profit from it.

The entire legislative process would take at least half a year.

Thus, Zhou Ming's wonderful vision of "letting good people live longer and letting bad people naturally wither away" had not only been completely dashed, but Genesis Technology's Longevity Medical Service could not be promoted anytime soon either. It might have to be postponed further.
