Xiao Tian became entangled in conflicts involving the Void Clan, the Investiture War, and the Heavenly Court while gathering allies and growing stronger. After recruiting the Bull Demon King and Macaque King, he left to pursue his plans for the Demon Kingdom.

• Yan argued with Xiao Tian, then Zhixin warned her that Carl, Hua Ye, and Morgana had lost to Kassadin and that Carl might release more Void Monsters.
• Hua Ye and Diana joined forces to attack Lieyang Star, where Sun Wukong intervened to save Leona from Diana.

• Xiao Tian infiltrated the Heavenly Court, met Chang'e at Guanghan Palace, and escaped its forces before deciding to recruit the Demon Race and grow stronger.
• Xiao Tian killed an Ancient Dragon, fused with its body, defeated Princess Iron Fan, and recruited the Bull Demon King and Macaque King into his Demon Kingdom.

Xiao Tian led the Demon Race in an assault on Spirit Mountain and was sealed by the Three Pure Ones, then began a new life in the Battle Through the Heavens world. He built his strength, reunited with Xiao Yi Xian, and left for Black Rock City and the Tagore Great Desert in pursuit of the resources needed to seek Heavenly Flames.

• Xiao Tian gathered the Dragon Kings and demon kings, killed Rulai after a battle at Spirit Mountain, and was sealed by the Three Pure Ones, who sent him to the Battle Through the Heavens world.
• Xiao Tian restarted with no cultivation, trained in the Xiao Family, and gradually advanced while Xiao Yan made his Three-Year Pact with Nalan Yanran.
• Xiao Tian sought Xiao Yi Xian in the Monster Mountain Range, explored a hidden cave with her, and later fought a giant gray ape before returning to the valley.
• Xiao Tian helped Yun Yun steal the Purple Spirit Crystal, rescued her after the Lion King sealed her strength, and later declined her offer to join the Misty Cloud Sect.
• Xiao Tian destroyed the Ten Thousand Medicine Pavilion to rescue Xiao Yi Xian, told her he could cure her Calamity Poison Body, and helped her begin cultivating the Poison Manual.
