Besides the various specialty dishes in the classrooms, the courtyard was packed with all kinds of snacks. Hayato first accompanied Kiyoko to the sushi stall she had been longing to visit, where they tried Karasuno's special fried shrimp sushi. Watching Kiyoko's eyes narrow with delight at the taste, Hayato felt that making this their first stop at the school festival had been the right choice.
Next, they wandered around the courtyard, checking out the stalls run by the classes of the other Volleyball Club members. Hinata and the others happened to be on shift as well, and when they saw Hayato and Kiyoko, they generously offered to treat them. Hayato refused, though. Everyone had good friends, and if they kept treating each other, wouldn't the class stalls end up losing money? After he took out his wallet and paid, Hinata picked out two large ones for them.
