Staring at the pitch-black monsters before them, which looked like black Slimes with tentacles, Meiling screamed. Syaoran hurriedly raised his sword and talismans, watching the monsters cautiously.
"Careful, those are Shadow Monsters. They aren't particularly strong individually, but there are a lot of them, and they're hard to deal with!"
Illya and Little Black had arrived beside them as well, shielding the pair. Illya casually explained the situation to Syaoran and Meiling, leaving Meiling dumbfounded.
"But why didn't we see these things the last few times Syaoran was recovering Clow Cards?"
