"Ugh... this place is really creepy..."
Walking down the flickering corridor, Sekai muttered quietly to herself.
"I wonder where Setsuna is... I hope she isn't hurt..."
"If it's Kiyoura, she should be fine..."
Hearing Sekai's murmuring, Katsura Kotonoha, walking beside her, replied. Sekai glanced at the girl before her and nodded.
"Yeah, Setsuna has always been smart. She'll definitely be fine... Still, I'm relieved that I ended up with you, Katsura..."
She had to admit that although she had heard rumors about Katsura Kotonoha at school, being with her now made Sekai feel much safer. On one hand, she at least had a companion in this strange place. On the other, Kotonoha had a wooden sword strapped to her back.
That was right. Ever since that incident, Kotonoha had practically never let her sword leave her side. Even when visiting Fang Zheng's house, she had brought it out of habit. In fact, when they were watching the movie earlier, Kotonoha had been hugging her sword the whole time. Thus, when she arrived in this world, she was still holding her weapon.
After what happened before, the entire school knew that Katsura Kotonoha was an expert swordswoman. With someone so overwhelmingly capable beside her, Sekai naturally felt far less nervous.
Still... what exactly was going on here?
Although the ghost had told them that they had been sent into some kind of multi-layered space, Sekai still found it hard to believe. They had encountered two living girls here before, but one had immediately run away upon seeing them, while the other had merely stood blankly in the corner of a wall, muttering incomprehensible words...
She wondered how everyone else was doing.
Thinking of that, Sekai could not help feeling uneasy.
"Tap, tap..."
Then, footsteps suddenly echoed from a corridor not far
