When Fang Zheng returned to the inn, Priestess unexpectedly brought him some good news.
"Sir Knight, I found someone willing to join us!"
"Really?"
Hearing Priestess's delighted report, Fang Zheng was rather surprised as well.
"What kind of person is she?"
"Her."
As she spoke, Priestess raised a hand and pointed behind her. Only then did Fang Zheng notice a girl about the same age as Priestess standing there. She had waist-length golden hair, wore adventurer's armor, and carried a longsword at her waist... Well, she looked like a melee-type adventurer.
The girl was very beautiful, but unlike Priestess, she wore no expression at all, as though nothing in the world concerned her.
"How did you find her?"
"I met her at the temple. I heard she wanted to become stronger and was looking for companions. So I invited her to join us, and she agreed."

"Yes."
"Uh... And the reason?"
"I want to become stronger."
