Burn, Burn, Burn! (May Day Break... Though I've Basically Been on Break All Along, Haven't I?)

When Little Black returned to the supermarket, she found that the group from before was still obediently eating in the same spot. Clearly, they had come here looking for food as well.

"Little Black, have you made your decision?"

Seeing Little Black jump out of the ventilation duct on the other side again, the blonde girl hurriedly asked. Little Black nodded.

"I've thought it over. I'm declining your invitation. We should go our separate ways."

As she spoke, Little Black casually grabbed a travel bag from a shelf and began stuffing it with food. Hearing her answer, the group was taken aback, and the black-haired girl who had been kidnapped earlier anxiously stood up.

"Wouldn't it be safer if we stayed together?"

"I don't think so. At a time like this, the more people there are, the easier it is to draw attention. Besides, I'm not very confident in you."

Little Black shook her head and slipped two bottles of mineral water into her bag. For a moment, no one had anything to say.

This was also the conclusion Little Black and Fang Zheng had reached after discussing it. Logically speaking, if this were part of a game, then this group was clearly one of the quest NPCs. If Little Black and the young lady traveled with them, then even if the system did not issue a prompt, the mission objective would most likely be to get everyone safely out of the city.

Just like in many games, if you could bring everyone out of the city unharmed, then the rewards and gains would obviously be extremely generous.

But the problem was that Little Black could not do that right now.

She was only a ten-year-old girl at the moment, while there were three boys and three girls in their
