Although Fang Zheng did think so, there was just one problem...
"I never thought Valentine's Day would be here already..."
Driving along a snow-covered mountain road, Fang Zheng remained remarkably calm. Yeah, wasn't it just a summer night before he went to sleep yesterday, only for him to wake up this morning to find the world blanketed in snow and steeped in winter scenery? He was used to it by now. Time meant nothing, and seasons were much the same. Just live well today, forget yesterday, and don't worry about tomorrow... otherwise, you'd be doomed sooner or later.
"I'm so sorry, Mr. Fang Zheng."
Ran, seated in the back, pressed her hands together and bowed to Fang Zheng.
"We're making you drive us all the way there..."
"It's fine. Mira was going too anyway."
Fang Zheng shrugged and glanced through the rearview mirror at Mira, Sonoko, and Conan in the back seat. This whole "incident" had been triggered when they ran into Sonoko at the mall yesterday. At the time, Sonoko had said she wanted to take Ran up the mountain to learn how to make chocolate, and Fang Zheng had still been wondering whether Valentine's Day would even arrive...
Well, after one night's sleep, it was suddenly right before Valentine's Day.
That was even more ridiculous than a game's "one night passes."
And ever since meeting him, Kogoro Mouri had practically been liberated. Whenever someone needed a car or an errand run, he would basically dump it on Fang Zheng, then stay home alone, drinking beer, watching horse races, and living like a king...
But then again...
"I never thought you'd be interested in making chocolate too."
Fang Zheng glanced at Haibara in the passenger seat and asked curiously. Haibara rolled her eyes at him.
"Is that not allowed?
