The Gobi in the darkness seemed boundless.
The road was anything but easy to travel. Fang Zheng drove the armored vehicle straight through, knocking aside the corroded husks of cars that had been reduced to little more than frames. Even so, the road was far more difficult than he had imagined.

Then, at that very moment, a flash suddenly appeared before his eyes.
"Boom!!!"
A deafening explosion erupted in an instant, swallowing the black armored vehicle whole. The already crumbling overpass thundered as it collapsed. Amid the dust, however, the howling black vehicle shot out at high speed, barely escaping its falling fate.

Otherwise, that blast alone would have turned it into scrap just like the rusted shells littering the overpass. But Fang Zheng quickly realized it was not over. He had no idea which shameless bastard had planted those landmines here. Perhaps they had meant to guard against raiders from outside, or maybe mutated beasts. Of course, judging from the current situation, the idiot crazy enough to place landmines outside his own home had probably died long ago.

"Damn it..."
When something glowing red streaked toward him with a long trail of smoke, Fang Zheng was speechless.
A small mushroom cloud rose from the ground.
The poorly maintained, precarious overpass collapsed completely. A
