The explosions and bombardments outside rang out without end. Hearing them, Colos rose to her feet in the Main Hall and looked around. She was not the only one; everyone else was anxiously glancing about as well, their faces filled with unease.
"What exactly is happening?"
"Could Her Majesty the Queen have sent someone to rescue us?"
Everyone began discussing it at once, while Colos remained silent, staring tensely at the doors. Before long, hurried footsteps sounded out, and the doors flew open. Black-armored Intelligence Department soldiers rushed in, raising their guns at the hostages.
"You, come with us! Now!"
"What are you trying to do?!"
Faced with the agents' rough behavior, the hostages immediately began shouting. The Intelligence Department soldiers paid no attention to their protests as they quickly crossed the Main Hall and stopped before Colos.
"Princess Kolotia, come with us."
"What exactly is going on?"
Colos stared at the agent, but he said nothing and reached out to grab her.
Just as Colos was about to resist, a thunderous crash rang out. A dark figure smashed through the ceiling and fell from the sky, slamming into the floor not far in front of her. A violent shockwave erupted in an instant, blasting all the Intelligence Department soldiers around them away.
"Cough, cough... Mm, a safe landing. As expected of me."
Fang Zheng stood up, dusted himself off, then looked up at the hole he had smashed through the roof. Naturally, he did not need to ride in a Drop Pod like the others. Breaking through the atmosphere with his own body was nothing to him, so what was this little trouble?
"Mr. Fang Zheng?!"
Colos stared blankly at Fang Zheng, who had descended from the sky. Fang Zheng merely smiled and waved at her.
