After school, Fang Zheng had just arrived at the entrance to the school building when he spotted Chiba Erika and Shibata Mizuki waiting there. Erika grinned and waved at him, while Mizuki bowed respectfully.

"More or less. It's Recruitment Week, right? Mizuki and I were considering which clubs to join. Have you decided yet, Kasugano? If not, want to take a look around together?"
As she spoke, Chiba Erika helplessly pointed at the bustling crowds outside.
"To be honest, it's kind of terrifying."
Just as Chiba Erika had said, quite a few clubs had set up booths along both sides of the road outside the school building to recruit members. That alone would have been fine, but their recruitment methods were downright frightening. The club members were practically grabbing at the new students from every direction, yanking at them as though they meant to tear them apart, enthusiastically greeting them while demanding that they join their clubs.
