Curled up on the sofa and watching the program on TV, Mikan Yuuki let out a soft sigh.
"When will big brother come home...?"
As she muttered to herself, Mikan looked toward the clock on the wall. Although her favorite cartoon was playing on TV, she was in no mood to watch it.
Mikan knew that her brother often went out to work, sometimes traveling to very distant places. She did not know exactly what kind of work he did, but she could guess it was definitely not safe.

The one who opened the door and walked in was Fang Zheng. Looking at his little sister who had come to greet him, he grinned and raised his right hand in greeting.
"Big brother, are you okay... What happened to your left hand?!"
Mikan immediately smiled when she saw Fang Zheng, but the moment she noticed the bandages around his left hand, her expression changed drastically. She rushed to his side and anxiously stared at his hand.
"Big brother, you're hurt?"
"Just a minor injury. It's nothing."
Fang Zheng clearly had no intention of dwelling on the matter.
