Following the usual conventions of anime from Japan, whenever the protagonist obtained something extraordinary, he would definitely try every possible way to hide it from others.
But Fang Zheng could not be bothered with that nonsense, so...

Looking at Crimson calmly sipping tea in a chair, Goto Jun, Momijidani Kohime, and Kinjo Sora's eyes sparkled. When Fang Zheng had called and told them to come over to see something "fun," they had been rather puzzled. But the moment they saw Crimson, the three girls became excited.
"Say, is this really okay?"
Compared to the three girls excitedly chatting with Crimson, Toriumi Sakura reacted much more normally. Standing some distance away, she watched the scene uneasily while speaking quietly to Fang Zheng.
"A doll that can talk and walk is way too strange. Are you sure it isn't some cursed thing?"
"Relax, it should be fine. I'm keeping an eye on it. Besides, don't you think it's pretty fun?"
Unlike the original protagonist, Fang Zheng basically regarded Crimson as a rare pet—like keeping a cat. Strictly speaking, Crimson's behavior was not that different from a cat's anyway.
"It is... pretty fun."
If it had been one of those dolls from Mount Hi-no-e Shrine, Toriumi Sakura would never have let her younger sisters anywhere near it. But as mentioned before, Crimson did not provoke the uncanny valley effect. Rather than a doll, she looked more like a humanoid creature such as a gnome, Goblin, or dwarf. Thus, Toriumi Sakura did not feel particularly frightened while looking at the petite and adorable Crimson.
And so, everyone spent a pleasant party together. The girls even performed a piece to welcome Crimson, promising that they would come play with her again when they had time.
For Fang Zheng,
