After putting on a show of deeply loving spouses reunited after a long separation in front of the reporters, Fang Zheng slipped them some money and sent them away. Only after the reporters had left and Fang Zheng had closed the door again did Tia You regain her senses and stare at him warily.
"What, what exactly do you want?"
"Don't be so nervous, Miss Tia You. I was only playing a little joke on you."
Facing Tia You's pale expression, Fang Zheng merely chuckled and sat down on the sofa.
"What am I doing here... I think you should understand after seeing them."
"Huh?"
Only then did Tia You notice Eve and Golden Darkness standing beside Fang Zheng, and she froze. After Fang Zheng's sudden attack earlier, her mind had remained muddled. She had only just regained some clarity, but when she saw the two nearly identical girls, she could not help but stare blankly.
For a moment, both sides fell silent.
Eve looked at Tia You with more curiosity than anything else. After all, her life was peaceful and happy now. To Eve, Tia You was merely the original template from which she had been cloned, so she was interested in what that original was like. That was all, though. They had never interacted before, and Eve did not have many thoughts about her.
Golden Darkness's gaze, however, was clearly much more complicated. She stared at Tia You for a long while before finally speaking softly.

Tia You had still been staring blankly at the two girls before her. When Golden Darkness called her name, she immediately looked toward her. Hearing Tia You's call, Fang Zheng and Eve both froze. Before they could speak, Golden Darkness turned her head away.
