Fang Zheng and Kallen soon left the cell as well. Sakura was sternly observing the drones in the distance, while Kallen stared at those things in utter confusion—being someone from the medieval era five hundred years ago, she naturally had no idea what those glowing discs floating in the air were.
Before Kallen could ask, however, Fang Zheng gestured to her, and she obediently shut her mouth. Then Fang Zheng looked at Sakura and spoke.
"Miss Sakura, where do we go next?"
"We'll bypass these guards and take the elevator to the archives. There are some things I need to investigate."
Sakura answered without turning around. Then, as the security drones began moving, she immediately stepped out from the corner.
"They're moving. Let's go! Stay close to me and don't get spotted!"
Led by Sakura, the two followed her through the drones' patrol route and entered the elevator. The three soon arrived on one of the base's floors.
"The archives are on this floor. Stay here and don't move. There are guards on the way there, so it seems we can't avoid them."
Keeping a wary eye on the security robots ahead, Sakura lowered her voice as she spoke to them.
"Then what do we do?"
"I have a way. Lower your heads and don't make a sound."
As she spoke, Sakura walked forward. The moment she appeared before the mechanical guard, its eyes immediately lit up.
