The layout of Zerg structures was unlike anywhere else: an Incubator stood in the middle of the Creep, with a cluster of Larvae wriggling beside it, ready to hatch at any moment.
The resource-gathering Drones worked against the clock, carrying back four cubic units of resources at a time for the Incubator to process. Spend a little more, and a group of Zerglings could be hatched for defense. Gather even more resources, and Hydralisks, Roaches, and the like could be produced.
But compared with mass-producing troops, Fang Zheng was more concerned with the strange phenomenon unfolding before him.
"This is really interesting..."
Standing on the Creep, Fang Zheng closed his eyes and sensed the atmosphere around him. He could feel that as the Creep spread, the chaotic aura in the surroundings gradually began to settle. The air, once saturated with deadly poison, was slowly being purified. Wherever the Zerg Creep reached, the regions filled with Power of Chaos were significantly weakened as well.
Fang Zheng had seen this before. Back in the Northern Lands, he had used the Star Spirit's Crystal Towers to resist the influence of the Power of Chaos and gradually expand the domain of order. Now, it seemed that Zerg Creep had a similar effect. However, unlike the Crystal Towers, which took effect immediately, Zerg Creep appeared to require a process of alteration and conversion.
Yet whether it was Crystal Towers or Creep, their existence proved one thing—on this planet, all powers founded on order, regardless of good or evil or race, could resist the erosion and attacks of chaos. This was especially evident in races with highly structured orders, like the Star Spirit and the Zerg. Perhaps that was why their effects against chaos were even more pronounced.
This filled Fang Zheng with even greater confidence.
