What the Hell Is This Thing?!

When Fang Zheng teleported underground and saw Honid again, he was shocked to discover that the situation was even worse than he had imagined.

"What... what the hell is this thing?"

Looking at the figure rampaging through the Lizardmen tribe, Fang Zheng stood dumbfounded for a moment, utterly at a loss for words.

Back in the chapel, Honid had become somewhat strange, but at least he had still retained a recognizable form. Yet when Fang Zheng faced this Lizardman again, the changes were so drastic that even he was taken aback!

Honid now looked like a wax figure melted by flames. His entire body was a sticky mess, with no telling where his mouth or nose might be. Worse still, Honid had previously needed to swallow other Lizardmen through his mouth, but now he had even skipped that step!

Boom!!

Right before Fang Zheng's eyes, the enormous monster Honid had become suddenly stomped down, crushing a Lizardman beneath his foot. The Lizardman did not even have time to struggle before Honid's "foot" instantly transformed into something soft and viscous, like clay, wrapping around him before melting and absorbing him outright. When Honid began moving again, there was nothing left where he had been standing. Even half the stone slabs and soil there had vanished!

This thing ate everything!!

Seeing this, Fang Zheng hurriedly raised his right hand and swept it toward the gigantic monster. As magical power erupted, an invisible force field instantly solidified into a massive cage, trapping Honid inside. Yet to Fang Zheng's surprise, upon realizing his movements had been restrained, Honid roared and pressed his entire body against the Force Field Barrier.
