Sanka Rea's Origins (Part 1)

The SUV sped down the street, roaring forward at full speed.

"Haa..."

Watching the scenery flash past the window, Little Black could not help but sigh.

"We were supposed to be rescuing people, but now... we're actually taking a zombie around to investigate?"

"It's not like we have anything else to do, right?"

Fang Zheng steered the SUV through the streets as he answered casually.

"So far, we haven't received any more distress signals. But don't worry, Tina has already sent out the detectors. If she finds any survivors, she'll contact us. Since we're free anyway, we might as well find something to do. This zombie lady's mutation is quite interesting. If we take her to her school or home, maybe it'll help her remember more."

"That may be true, but..."

As she spoke, Little Black looked at Sanka Rea in the back seat.

"Why are we making her wear a helmet?"

"Just in case. You saw it too—she hasn't eaten anything for an entire day. That means the food humans used to eat no longer works for her. Until we find something she can eat, it's safer this way. Otherwise, if hunger makes her lose her head and she bites someone, that'll be a real problem."

"Mhm..."

Hearing Fang Zheng's answer, Little Black gave a meaningful hum, then her eyes shifted.

"Then, big brother, what if she eats people...?"

"Then we'll have no choice but to eliminate her. No matter what, we can't let someone who eats people live in this world."
