This Protagonist... Was Cursed!!

Like the Chief Petty Officer, Fang Zheng planned to explore this planet as well. After all, whether human or alien, the technology here was far more advanced than that of the other worlds. A thief never left empty-handed; since he had come all this way, Fang Zheng naturally would not return empty-handed. He had to take something, at least.

So he had Iona put away the warship and store it in subspace for automatic repairs. Then, guided by Nymph, the group headed toward the alien base they had discovered earlier. Along the way, Fang Zheng learned the background and basic situation of this world from the information Nymph had retrieved from the warship.

According to the records, the governments of Earth's nations had long since united to establish the Earth United Government. Afterward, as Earth science advanced, humanity mastered long-range slipspace technology, and interstellar colonization officially began.

At first, humanity's extraterrestrial colonization went quite smoothly. They colonized hundreds of planets of varying sizes, and overall, development remained fairly stable. However... they were not the only beings in the universe.

On Bountiful Star, humanity first encountered the Star Alliance, their future enemy. Initially, both sides approached each other with relatively peaceful intentions and tried to communicate. Yet the vast disparity in strength, along with what each side believed the other to be, ultimately led to war.

Incidentally, humanity and the Star Alliance initially communicated through paintings and images. Humanity displayed Bountiful Star's abundance and resources, hoping to trade with the Star Alliance. The Star Alliance, meanwhile, showed an image of humans kneeling before them and presenting them with a round object covered in golden lines. At first, humanity thought they meant a melon. Only later did they realize the Star Alliance meant Bountiful Star itself...

And so, the war began. The
