Fang Zheng had expected that one breath to be enough to exile the thing to the distant shore of time, beyond the destruction of the universe. As for whether it could come back, he couldn't be bothered to care.
However, things were not that simple.
Fang Zheng's blast had nearly punched straight through the entire base, yet the black sphere still floated steadily in the air. The difference was that a white, shield-like layer had now appeared around it.
Damn it, this thing again!
The sight of it made Fang Zheng curse inwardly. Of course he had seen it before. In the monster world, he had intended to use his time breath against that giant ape, but it had proven completely ineffective no matter what he did. In the end, Fang Zheng had gone all out, blasted away an entire mountain with one breath, then summoned the mountain back himself and used it to nail that ape to death.
Even now, Fang Zheng had no idea what the thing was. But judging from the results, it seemed to be some kind of protection mechanism for a world. Power beyond that world's limits would be sealed or blocked to a certain extent.
Looks like I'll have to do this myself!
Having already seen his attack fail once, Fang Zheng was not particularly surprised. He stretched out his front claw and viciously slapped down at the black sphere. Before Fang Zheng, the huge black orb was only a little smaller than a basketball. And that so-called World Barrier apparently was not immune to physical attacks. Under Fang Zheng's blow, it shot downward, only to be yanked back up by the Chains of Heaven.
Fang Zheng slammed down with another claw, sending the black sphere bouncing up again.
