As a hidden labyrinth, the monsters here were indeed stronger than those in ordinary Dungeons outside, but they were not particularly troublesome for Fang Zheng. If anything, they were... disgusting.

Fang Zheng swung his sword, sending the toad in front of him flying. Looking at the corpses of toads scattered around them, Asuna and Eriri both let out sighs of relief.
"This is way too disgusting. They're all toads."
"It gets even worse up ahead. Luckily, there aren't any rats..."
"Rats aren't scary either. What's scary is huge swarms of rats..."
As they spoke, the two girls looked at the dark, silent corridor ahead and imagined hundreds of rats crawling toward them in a packed mass. Both of them shuddered. Even Fang Zheng unconsciously tightened his grip on his sword hilt when he heard Asuna and Eriri muttering.
Even though he was now a Knight of the Farron Undead Legion, an adult Time Dragon, a mage about to step into the ninth circle, and the Commander of a fleet... Fang Zheng still could not forget the terror of being dominated by rat Lords of Cinder in the sewers.
So when it came to rats... it was best not to encounter them if possible.
Thinking this, Fang Zheng turned and glanced at Yui, who was obediently standing beside Asuna.
"Are you scared?"
"No, Daddy."
Yui shook her head and gave him a crisp, certain answer.
Hearing that, Asuna and Eriri both looked rather depressed. They had originally thought that, if Yui was scared, they could use sending her away as an excuse to leave this sewer-like hellhole. Unfortunately, Yui was remarkably brave. Even after seeing so many hideous toads along the way, she had not shown the slightest hint of fear.
