Background

Tang Ni was originally the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, the embodiment of fate within the Star Dou Great Forest. After absorbing part of Sky Dream Ice Silkworm's cultivation, she became a ten-thousand-year soul beast. Her rapid advancement was unusual because the Three-Eyed Golden Lion clan faced especially severe hundred-thousand-year thunder tribulations, making Di Tian reluctant to allow such cultivation absorption under normal circumstances. 117

Seeking Xiao Wu, another soul beast living as a human, Tang Ni traveled to Notting City. There, she used the Power of Fate to investigate the aura of a hundred-thousand-year soul beast and encountered Tang Hao near the Blue Silver Emperor seeds. After helping him understand the Blue Silver Grass's need for sunlight, she was taken in as Tang Hao's goddaughter under the name she had chosen through the Eye of Fate: Tang Ni. 117

Tang Hao enrolled her at Heaven Dou Royal Academy and arranged for her to grow closer to Tang San and his companions.
