Background / History

Kong was brought to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan by its sect master, Yu Yuanzhen. During his martial-soul awakening, he sensed two same-origin powers within his soul. Purple lightning manifested around him, followed by a purple female figure and the lightning-wreathed blade later identified as Engulfing Lightning. Although he possesses two martial souls, he initially could summon only Engulfing Lightning; he deduced the second was Raiden Shogun. 3 4

Engulfing Lightning’s divine aura and Kong’s Innate Level Twenty Soul Power caused the clan to reverse its initial hostility toward him. Yu Yuanzhen declared him the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan’s Young Sect Master immediately after the awakening. 4

Under Yu Yuanzhen’s guidance, Kong hunted a nearly thousand-year-old Dark Gold Terror Claw Bear for his first soul ring.
