He then defended the Mittel Family’s Spirit Terraces from the Misty Cloud Sect and set out with allies to claim the Refining Iron Vein as Wang Tianhao’s forces gathered there.

• Yang Shan subdued Mo Ya, spared Mo Bas at Yue Mei’s request, and forced the Serpent-People leaders to accept his terms before negotiating with Medusa Queen.
• Yang Shan won Medusa Queen’s cautious cooperation by demonstrating his strength and alchemy, then traveled to Canaan Academy and arranged for Mo Tianxing to help seize Han Feng’s Sea Heart Flame.
• Yang Shan and his allies defeated Han Feng and the Gold Silver Duo, and Yang Shan claimed the Sea Heart Flame after Han Feng escaped with his Soul Body near death.
• Yang Shan refined the Sea Heart Flame, defeated Xiao Aotian’s Fallen Heart Flame in a comparison, and tested an Overload attack that shattered Hu Qian’s defenses.
• Yang Shan left Jia Nan Academy with Su Yitang and other allies to defend the Mittel Family’s Spirit Terraces, where he killed Yun Xu and Yun Fu as their forces counterattacked the Misty Cloud Sect.
• Hai Bodong defeated Yun Leng, while Yang Shan warned Yun Leng that he was protecting the Mittel Family and Yun Shan ordered an investigation into Yang Shan.
• Yang Shan persuaded Hai Bodong and Jia Xingtian to support a four-person effort to claim the Refining Iron Vein, then flew there with Su Yitang, Chao Bafang, and Zhu Tianpeng as Wang Tianhao’s forces assembled.

Yang Shan advanced to Dou Huang, manipulated the struggle over the Misty Cloud Sect, and rescued Yun Yun before heading to the Tagor Desert. There, he joined forces with powerful players and struck a temporary bargain with the Red Tail Scorpion Beast amid plans to exploit its stolen egg.

• Yang Shan fought through Wang Tianhao’s bounty-driven assault at the Refining Iron Vein, then passed the Heart Demon Trial and became the first player to reach Dou Huang.
• Yang Shan earned Mystic Wrath Thunder Lord’s favor, received the location of the Extreme Lightning Mystic Classic, and began recruiting Bai Su'an to restore Wudang Mountain temples.
• Disguised as Cheng E, Yang Shan allied with Protector Wu and secretly visited Yun Yun, then persuaded her to reclaim the Misty Cloud Sect with support from the empire’s factions.
• Yang Shan led raids that captured twelve resource points, prompting the Imperial Family, Mittel Family, and Nalan Family to unite against the Misty Cloud Sect.
• While Yun Shan was away, Yang Shan and Nalan Yanran rescued Yun Yun, and Yang Shan survived Protector Wu’s attack before returning to her.
• Yang Shan traveled to the Tagor Desert, refined a Break Sect Pill for Medusa Queen, and joined Xiao Aotian, Yi Qingyang, and Lucky Poison Hand in pursuing the Red Sand Poison Scorpion King.
• Yang Shan and his companions defeated Mulan Valley elders who had stolen the Red Tail Scorpion Beast’s egg to provoke a beast tide against the Serpent-People tribe.

Yang Shan secured the Serpent-People tribe’s alliance, fought Yun Shan, and explored Black Moon Ridge while helping Su Yitang grow stronger. He then entered the Soul Palace’s Ghost Wither Branch Hall, gained Old Mu Bone’s protection, and began cultivating Dark Soul Mist before taking a hunting mission.

• Yang Shan used the Iron-Eating Mice and Sand Ants to disrupt Mulan Valley, forced its forces to withdraw, and agreed to help Medusa Queen defend the Spirit Stone Mine.
• Yang Shan negotiated with the Red Tail Scorpion Beast for Red Sand Essence Ore and protection, then returned to help the Serpent-People tribe repel Yun Shan and the Three Mulan Elders.
• Yang Shan and his allies drove Yun Shan into retreat, and Yang Shan agreed that Yue Mei and her elites could guard Red Sand Continent in exchange for the Serpent-People tribe gathering supplies there.
• Yang Shan took Su Yitang to Black Moon Ridge, where they fought magical beasts, helped Su Yitang reach Nine-Star Dou Wang, and encountered the hidden Black Moon Dog and Snow Moon Cat clans.
• Yang Shan claimed to be Mystic Wrath Thunder Lord’s disciple and persuaded the clans to seek his help restoring their rule, while the system assigned him a quest to defeat the Ghoul Wolves and Ghost Tigers.
• Yang Shan and Su Yitang postponed the campaign against the two Thousand Beast Kings to level up, then Yang Shan traveled to the Ghost Wither Branch Hall to investigate it for Hun Dan.
• Yang Shan gained Old Mu Bone’s protection by presenting himself as a Soul General sent by a masked Young Master, and Han Feng apologized and paid him Contribution Points.
• Yang Shan exchanged Contribution Points for the Mysterious and Earth Chapters of Dark Soul Mist, completed the inheritance, and accepted a Deep Domain sweep mission while arranging to cultivate AFK.

Yang Shan helped Yun Yun defeat the Misty Cloud Sect, then turned to the Black-Corner Region to build an alliance and explore Black Moon Ridge with Zi Yan. After their attempt to seize the Extreme Lightning Mystic Classic stalled, they stole Demon Blood Fruits and killed Golden Flower Consort.

• Yang Shan devastated the Five Directions Alliance’s forces, then helped Yun Yun win the war against Yun Shan and the Misty Cloud Sect.
• Yang Shan and his allies completed the Empire Upheaval storyline first, while the game company prepared Version 2.1 and its Black-Corner Region conflicts.
• Yang Shan formed the Bloodshed Alliance with Hun Dan, Luo Xie, and Su Mei, then brought Fan Lao under Hun Dan’s control.
