• Yang Shan took the inheritance in Snow Moon Valley, then watched the Thousand Flame Ghost Tiger King blame the Ghoul Wolf Clan and Demon Flame Valley for Golden Flower Consort’s death.
• Yang Shan joined the Bloodshed Alliance as an elder after occupying Bauhinia Forest, and he raised his Character Potential while hunting in Black Moon Ridge.
• Yang Shan robbed Demon Flame Valley’s Spirit Stone Mine and staged the attack to implicate the Ghost Tiger Clan, then took resources from the Ghoul Wolf Clan’s territory.
• Yang Shan hunted the Earth Wanderer Demon Sheep with Chao Bafang and Zhu Tianpeng’s help, earning the first kill before Yue Mei arrived wounded by the Lion Underworld Sect.

Yang Shan protected the Serpent-People tribe, seized opportunities in the Black-Corner Region, and fought rival Players and the Mysterious Eagle Sect while gathering resources. After reaching Supreme Foundation, he began the Dou Zong Heart Demon Trial and faced Xiao Xun'er in a dreamlike battle.

• Yang Shan helped Medusa Queen evolve into a Five-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python, then drove Sha Feng and the Lion Underworld Sect away from the Serpent-People tribe by invoking his supposed master’s threat.
• Yang Shan explained Medusa Queen’s limited Affinity route to Xiao Aotian, took the Seven-Colored Flame Crystal from Medusa Queen, and gave Yue Mei a pill and a challenge to reach Nine Star Dou Huang.
• Yang Shan attacked the Tian Hao Alliance at White Stone Mountain, killed Ji Fengchun, and captured Mo Ya and four elders before Mo Tianxing ransomed them with a Fire Spirit Crystal.
• Yang Shan reached Nine Star Dou Huang, began refining foundation treasures, and captured Ghost Little Two and Ghost Little Four to use as leverage against the Thousand Flame Ghost Tiger King.
• Yang Shan agreed to help the Bloodshed Alliance defend its mine, then fought Xiao Aotian and Yi Qingyang before Old Man Ying Shan ambushed him and Su Yitang arrived to help him escape.
• Su Yitang defeated four Mysterious Eagle Sect Dou Emperors, and Yang Shan later cultivated to gain a Supreme Foundation before beginning the Dou Zong Heart Demon Trial.

Yang Shan strengthened his company, raided a magical beast secret realm, and prepared for Version 3.0 before leaving the Black-Corner Region for Central State. He entered the Tyrant Blade Secret Realm in Northern Sun City as a Dou Zong.

• Yang Shan completed the Heart Demon Trial, reached One Star Dou Zong, and accepted Su Yitang’s Essence Spirit Crystal as a gift.
• Yang Shan fought Old Man Ying Shan, forced him to surrender treasures, and formed an alliance with him against Han Feng.
• Yang Shan and his companions infiltrated the beast clans’ secret realm, where they looted spiritual treasures and helped Su Yitang escape with a Phoenix Blood Flower.
• Yang Shan helped the Bloodshed Alliance capture resource points, then watched Tian Yao Company announce Version 3.0 and its NPC friendship system.
• Yang Shan returned to Gama Holy City, reunited with Ya Fei, and helped Hai Bodong confess his feelings to Little Dolphin.
• Yang Shan traveled through Jia Nan Academy’s Space Wormhole to Central State after learning Zi Yan had entered a protected slumber.
• Yang Shan entered Northern Sun City as Blade Sovereign and used Good Fortune to bypass the Tyrant Blade Secret Realm’s entry restriction.

Yang Shan claimed the Tyrant Blade inheritance, established himself as Young Pavilion Master, and gathered resources while pursuing Yao Lao and Han Feng. The arc ended with Yang Shan leading four enraged magical beasts into Demon Flame City to confront Han Feng, Earth Demon Old Ghost, and Mo Tianxing.

• Yang Shan defeated the Tyrant Blade tower’s wolf trial, learned the Earth Chapter, and received the Severing Heaven Blade Saint’s Soul Imprint.
• Yang Shan subdued the Shangguan, Gongsun, and Yuchi families, then left Northern Sun City with Wang Chen and traveled to meet Fei Tian.
