• Tang San killed the Man Faced Demon Spider and absorbed its dangerous Soul Ring, enduring a brutal transformation that gave him an External Soul Bone, while Xiao Wu returned with her third Soul Ring.
• Bai Ge killed and absorbed a fifty-thousand-year Golden Saber-Toothed Lion, then returned with the Shrek group to the academy, where Grandmaster began directing their training.
