Shrek Academy! (Part 1)

After waiting for Jiang Nannan, Zhu Ziyang headed to the assessment area with her.

There were only two students in the assessment room as well, but they were sixth-year students wearing black uniforms. One was male and one female. When they saw Zhu Ziyang and Jiang Nannan enter, their eyes both lit up. A handsome boy and a beautiful girl—who wouldn't like that?

"Alright, thank you both!" Zhu Ziyang took the papers, feeling relieved, and smiled at the two students.

Shrek Academy's assessment wasn't all that difficult, he thought. Taking Jiang Nannan's hand, he left the assessment room and headed toward the true gates of Shrek Academy.

Upon entering Shrek Academy, they were greeted by lush vegetation brimming with vitality. All kinds of flowers, grasses, and trees had been carefully trimmed, making for a delightful sight.

They saw the statue of the Golden Iron Triangle, then passed the statues of the first-generation Shrek Seven Devils. Looking at the statues in their various poses, Zhu Ziyang and Jiang Nannan could not help stopping.

Zhu Ziyang's gaze lingered on the third statue for a moment. He lowered his head, and a mocking smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

This statue was none other than the third member of the first-generation Shrek Seven Devils: Thousand Hands Douluo, Sea God and Asura God, Tang San!

The diary was likely written after the Battle of Jialing Pass, when Qian Renxue had gone into seclusion. Most of its content consisted of her confessions, though it also contained records related to the beginning and end of the Battle of Jialing Pass.

From the contents of the diary, combined with other books from the same era, Zhu Ziyang gained an extremely detailed and vivid understanding of the events of ten thousand years ago and Sea God Tang San's deeds.

So, an unprecedented divine war had actually taken place at Jialing Pass ten thousand years ago!

At least four gods had participated in that divine war, including the Sea God, Angel God, Rakshasa God, and Asura God. Thousand Hands Douluo Tang San had even possessed both the Sea God and Asura God divine positions. No wonder he had been able to fight two against one and defeat both the Angel God and Rakshasa God.

Zhu Ziyang had also gained a general understanding of the grudges between Tang San and Spirit Hall, though he offered no judgment on them.

However, he deeply questioned Tang San's character!

At the very front was naturally the teaching area. Its imposing buildings came in different colors, yet they were arranged in orderly rows of white, yellow, purple, and black. The colors of the teaching buildings represented different grades and were distinguished according to Soul Ring colors. White represented the Freshman Teaching Building, like the lowest-ranked ten-year Soul Rings. Yellow represented the teaching buildings for the Outer Court's second- and third-year students, purple represented those for fourth- and fifth-year students, while black represented the sixth-year teaching buildings. Those who could walk out of the black teaching buildings could already receive their Outer Court graduation certificates.

The white freshman building was closest to the Lakeside Path. After walking along the southern side of Shrek Plaza, the two entered the building.
