• Jiang Nannan swept Yunluo Academy’s contestants, while Shrek’s Preliminary Team later defeated Thousand Spirit Academy.
• The Silver Dragon Wolf evolved into the Heavenly Frost Holy Silver Dragon, became Di'er Shuang, and contracted with Zhu Ziyang as his third Soul Spirit.
• Ma Xiaotao swept Zhengtian Academy’s contestants, and Zhu Ziyang later revealed a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring in an arena battle before escaping with Jiang Nannan and Ma Xiaotao.

Shrek Academy won the tournament as Zhu Ziyang faced powerful enemies, advanced the Soul Spirit system, and pursued the Death God’s trials. After Mu En’s health declined, Zhu Ziyang proposed placing Zhang Lexuan on the Sun Moon Empire’s throne, and she left to consider the plan.

• Langya and Yutao tried to recruit Huo Yuhao for the Body Sect, but he refused and remained committed to Shrek Academy and the Tang Sect.
• The Snow Empress emerged from her soul spirit egg, and Zhu Ziyang named her Zhu Lingxue and accepted her as his daughter.
• Zhu Ziyang defeated all seven Sun Moon Team members alone, securing Shrek Academy the tournament championship and choosing three Soul Bones from the imperial reward.
• Shrek Academy arranged Soul Bone recipients and prepared for Zhu Ziyang’s departure, but Long Xiaoyao tried to seize him before Mu En intervened and Zhu Ziyang wounded Long Xiaoyao in their wager.

Zhu Ziyang pursued the God of Death trials while Mu En passed Shrek Academy’s leadership to him, and Zhang Lexuan and Jiang Nannan received assessments tied to the Lunar God. After helping Qian Lingyi gain a Soul Ring and establishing a Shrek-affiliated academy in Anyang, Zhu Ziyang completed the Four Trials of the God of Death and prepared to claim his reward.

• Zhu Ziyang met Qian Lingyi while she fought the Duke of Hell, purified the Evil Soul Master, and agreed to take her to Shrek Academy.
• Zhu Ziyang killed the Eight-Armed Demon Lord with Qian Lingyi’s help, explained his Death Attribute research, and returned to Shrek Academy to absorb the Dragon Core and form a second Soul Core.
• Mu En entrusted Shrek Academy to Zhu Ziyang, passed on his final orders, and transformed into a white dragon that merged with the Golden Ancient Tree.
• Zhu Ziyang and Zhang Lexuan led a Shrek team into the Star Dou Great Forest, where Huo Yuhao, Beibei, Jiang Nannan, Xu Jiujiu, and Xu Sanshi obtained Soul Rings and Xu Jiujiu gained a torso bone.

Zhu Ziyang completed the God of Death’s Sixth Trial, gathered companions whose divine assessments tied them to his next task, and sailed in search of the Scythe of the Dead. The group reached the Eastern Continent and set out for the Mountain Range of the Dead, where Zhu Ziyang suspected the Devil Emperor awaited them.

• Zhu Ziyang took the Ice Dragon King’s Torso Bone from the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, completed the Fifth Trial, and gained a Divine Soul Bone that advanced his Martial Soul and soul bones.
• Zhu Ziyang killed the Ice Demon Snow Soul King, absorbed its Soul Ring, reached level 80, and used the Ice Dragon King’s Dragon Core to condense his third Soul Core and gain an eighth Soul Ring.
• Zhu Ziyang learned that the Seventh Trial required him to find and subdue the Scythe of the Dead on the Eastern Continent, while Jiang Nannan and Zhang Lexuan discovered their trials required them to help him.
• Zhu Ziyang helped Jiang Nannan and Zhang Lexuan form Soul Spirit Contracts with Moon Laurel Immortal Tea and Jade Emperor Purple Lily, and Zhang Lexuan’s Martial Soul evolved into the Emperor’s Moon.
• Zhu Ziyang and his companions boarded Xu Jianwei’s Moon God Shuttle and sailed from Fourth Moon Island, then encountered Four Symbols Island and learned about its Soul Beast Kings and the Dragon King guarding the surrounding sea.
