"Truth?"
Shisui stared intently at Obito Uchiha. He could now be certain that this man's actual body was definitely not here!
Hidezawa had carefully reported Obito's combat intelligence to him. He also knew that this man was skilled at hiding within another space, revealing his true body only when he attacked.
He simply could not determine whether Obito Uchiha would be affected by genjutsu while inside that alternate space, which was why he had not acted rashly.
For now, he would slowly talk things out with Obito Uchiha and see how things developed.
"Yes. The truth."
Obito Uchiha nodded. He looked calmly at Shisui and continued in a deep voice.
"I wonder, what exactly do you know about your teammate, Shihara Hidezawa?"
"Hidezawa."
Shisui furrowed his brow slightly. Claiming he knew nothing about Hidezawa would have been a lie.
Hidezawa had never concealed his relationship with Danzo. From the very beginning, he had made it clear that he came from a deep-level Anbu training institution.
Shisui might not have known exactly what that place was, but he understood that it was Danzo's territory!
"Shihara Hidezawa is Danzo's man, and Danzo is the infamous Darkness of the Shinobi World."
Obito spoke with a calm smile. White Zetsu had given him plenty of intelligence.
"As the Second Hokage's disciple, he perfectly inherited the Second Hokage's hatred for the Uchiha Clan.
"And as the Third Hokage's classmate, he received unimaginable protection.
"Did you know? Something once happened in Konoha. Hatake Sakumo, known as the Konoha White Fang, committed suicide. Have you heard of it?"
Shisui said nothing. Of course he had heard of it. The incident had caused a huge uproar, and one of his Anbu colleagues was Kakashi.
But what did that have to do with Danzo?
"What nonsense are you talking
