No one knew how many times such violent thunderous roars had already erupted in the sky.

A great battle continued high in the air, a thousand meters above the ground.

An enormous black dragon occupied half the sky, its broad wings seemingly capable of blotting out the clouds and sun.

The black dragon was over a hundred meters long, its entire body covered in thick dragon scales. Its pale golden eyes were filled with the majesty of a king.

Every movement of its massive body caused vast swathes of surrounding space to distort. Yet those distorted spaces did not spread outward; instead, they neutralized the shockwaves around them one by one.

Opposite the enormous black dragon stood a giant covered in dark green, proud and imposing. The giant was also nearly a hundred meters tall, his massive body knotted with muscles as though he had emerged from antiquity.

Behind him, an enormous dark green vortex spun continuously. Within that vortex, streaks of golden light flickered faintly.

Not far from the dark green giant floated a colossal divine beast with spiral twin horns, a head like that of a dragon, and the sturdy body of a bull.

Its long spiral horns pointed forward. Beneath its feet were clouds formed from layers of yellow halos. The sensation of sheer power it gave off made the sky seem like solid ground.

Even while facing the combined assault of Du Busi and Xuan Zi, Long Xiaoyao showed no signs of fatigue despite his reservations. The might of the Dragon Emperor was displayed in full.
