"Want me to stir-fry two more dishes for you?"
Chen Ping rolled his eyes irritably, leaped off the boat, and reached out to store it back in his Storage Soul Guidance Device.
Lan Fuzi reacted quickly enough to jump after him while clutching her bowl, barely avoiding a fall into the water. Furious, she tipped the hot-and-sour noodles into her mouth before glaring hatefully at Chen Ping.
"What are you trying to do?"
"Let's fly forward. The ice islands ahead are getting bigger and bigger, and taking a detour would be too much trouble."
Chen Ping surveyed the ice island beneath his feet. The one they stood on alone was the size of seven or eight sports fields, and as far as the eye could see, ice islands even larger than this one were everywhere.
Hearing that, Lan Fuzi reluctantly put away her bowl and followed Chen Ping into the air.
But they had not flown far when a massive iceberg appeared ahead. From atop a distant iceberg, one icy gaze after another turned toward them.
They were enormous marine creatures. There were hundreds of them sprawled across the iceberg.
"Finally found them."
Chen Ping's eyes lit up at the sight of those long, black-skinned, gray-spotted creatures, each five or six meters long.
"Found what?"
Lan Fuzi froze, following Chen Ping's gaze. What she saw were black Soul Beasts of varying sizes. The largest were over ten meters long, their bodies giving off a faint blue glow. Each had two long, sharp tusks protruding from its mouth.
"Are those... Sea Demon Elephants?"
When Lan Fuzi came to the ice islands to look for Liya, she usually swam over from beneath the sea. Naturally, she did not know that these creatures, which spent most of their time lying on the ice,
