The blue bubble settled around Chen Ping, and the seawater parted to either side on its own, offering no resistance whatsoever as it carried him down into the depths of the ocean. He could not feel the pressure of the sea at all and could even breathe with ease.
This effect was almost exactly the same as that of the Heart of the Ocean.
The color of the seawater gradually deepened. He could only make out parts of his surroundings by the light radiating from the blue bubble, but he could not see very far.
All Sea Soul Beasts in the ocean retreated of their own accord upon sensing the aura of the bubble.
They descended quickly. About ten minutes later, their speed began to slow. Light appeared below them.
Chen Ping focused his gaze, and shock could not help but fill his eyes.
Deep beneath the sea, a palace-like complex lay quietly before them. These structures gave off a blue glow, illuminating dozens of miles around them.
Mermaids could clearly be seen swimming through it, while the buildings themselves were all constructed from ocean coral and various precious ore deposits.
Though they were not truly buildings like those of humans, they possessed their own distinct marine characteristics. For instance, Chen Ping saw a mermaid emerge from a gigantic shell over five meters tall before swiftly swimming away through the seawater.
So this was the world beneath the sea! It was simply magnificent.
Soon, another mermaid wearing a crown swam out. However, unlike Lina, the crown on her forehead was golden, and even the scales on her lower fish tail were golden. Her bearing carried the unique charm of a beautiful middle-aged woman.
"Little Lan, and this honored guest, hello. I am the clan leader of the Sea Princess Clan."
