If Scattered Hand grasped the basic methods of exerting force, and Mastery meant integrating force into one's moves until they flowed together seamlessly, then the Unity Realm was fundamentally different from both of those stages. It meant comprehending a higher-level means of exerting force.
Take the Quivering Spear Force of the Falling Leaf Spear Technique. Though it too used the leg muscles to generate power, turned through the waist and hips, and finally erupted through the arms, this force was still relatively "scattered" in essence, insufficiently concentrated and unified.
The most intuitive example was this:
If Wu Ming thrust his spear at a boulder, concentrating the strength of his entire body, he could drive the entire head of the Crimson Serpent Spear through hard granite. Yet as that force pierced the granite, it would also disperse, leaving spiderweb-like cracks around the section struck by the spearhead.
